Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Khamis is a senior facilities and safety professional with over 25 years of experience across various sectors, including higher education, banking, and construction. As Head of Estates and Support Services at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain, he oversees total facilities management, health and safety compliance, sustainability initiatives, and infrastructure projects across the university campus.

Mohamed holds a master’s in Construction Project Management and a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Industry 4.0 integration in the facilities management sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He has led significant projects, including a solar plant, and developed emergency preparedness and HSE systems aligned with international standards. Mohamed also serves as an internal auditor and panel member for institutional and engineering accreditation reviews.

He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Bahrain Polytechnic, teaching engineering and ESG-related modules, blending academic insight with practical expertise. Mohamed is committed to advancing safe, sustainable, and future-ready environments.
